Factory fresh M40 single decal helmet
M42 Heer helmet painted late war field gray and lightly textured with saw dust. Helmet has been fitting with a 6-twist full chicken wire basket
This M42 was restored for a client. He asked me to re-create the helmet his fathers wore while fighting with the 16th Panzer Division in the Ukraine and Italy. The helmet features a extremely thickaluminum oxide finish, commonly seen on some of these later war helmets. The vets name was Anton Boos. This is his photo.
